The latest novel by Dusan Kovacevic is actually a circus-love-story occurring in Belgrade and Central Serbia that coincides with the NATO bombing of Yugoslavia in 1999. With its atmosphere, it greatly reminds us of Underground, another of Kovacevic's novels, after which Emir Kusturica made his famous film with the same name.
